Name: Jacqueline M. Harper
Species: Human (as far as she knows)
Age: 18
Bio: Shortly after her 18th birthday Jacqueline's parents revealed to her that she was adopted. When she asked for details her parents told her what little they knew; she had been found on the altar of Our Lady of Pompeii Church in Chicago's little Italy by the pastor one morning. There were no signs of forced entry, and no one was really quite sure how she had gotten in there. The pastor brought her to the University of Chicago Hospital and her parents adopted her shortly thereafter. She grew up in Chicago's near-Northwest suburbs.
Learning this makes Jacqueline begin to rethink her chosen career in film and theatre (backstage positions only!) Before starting college she went on a trip to the British Isles with friends, and Scotland seemed to call to her. One afternoon her trip mates chose to go shopping, yet again, and Jacqueline felt compelled to rent a car and head into the Scottish hills. Her friends have begun to worry, since she has yet to return from her private exploration.
Description: She is short, approximately 5'3 tall, with dark brown shoulder length hair, spikey bangs, blue eyes, and a fair complexion. She usually wears black pants or skirts, blue simple blouses (sometimes with contrasting suspenders), and always has her favourite navy blue trenchcoat with all its hidden inner pockets to hold all her essentials. When setting off for the Scottish hills she tucked a sgian dubh dagger she'd bought in Edinburgh into one of the pockets, and she also had a William Wallace style Claymore and a short broadsword (both also purchased in Edinburgh).
Other: Jacqueline believes herself to be human but she may not be. She rarely got sick as a child, and injuries heal very quickly. The rare times she has gotten into fights she usually manages to win, with no memory later of how exactly she won the fight. A few times in her stage combat classes she slightly injured a classmate, not knowing her own strength. She won't pick a fight, and her only real training has been stage combat, but if pressed into a fight she can hold her own. She hates guns and really any ranged weapon; the only weapon she prefers is the sword, and even that only when necessary. Perhaps during the course of the tournament she will manage to learn more about herself, and her true heritage.
